DeFeet makes an entire range of wool socks because of the fabric’s great thermal properties that keep your pinkies cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Fit and quality are both first rate, but the Woolie Boolie socks are pretty thick so they could reduce circulation with tight-fitting shoes. The Woolie Boolies are very warm but tend to hold moisture for longer when wet than the synthetic socks on test. Great quality and very comfortable, but if you’re used to buying three pairs of socks for a fiver you’re likely to baulk at the price.
