Gwin shows just how fast he can be on home turf

There’s no rest for the wicked and after a stunning race at Mont-Sainte-Anne it’s time for the downhill World Cup riders to head to Windham for round six of the 2015 series.

We’ve only just had time to get over Josh Bryceland’s return to winning ways last week so it seems mad that it’s only two days until the riders are sitting in the start gate again.

But another World Cup means another Claudio Caluori helmet camera run and that’s something we certainly won’t be complaining about. This time he follows current World Cup leader Aaron Gwin down the notoriously short, but full on, Windham track in New York State.

Gwin and Claudio Windahm Woods

Gwin was kind enough to keep his chain on this time to allow Caludio to keep up but he still looked stonkingly quick – even Claudio seems amazed at his smoothness through the rock gardens.

The biggest change to the course this year is a motocross style whoops section through the bottom woods. Claudio calls this the Firecracker section and it certainly seems to shake him up a bit.

For other Claudio track previews check out Mont-Sainte-Anne and Lenzerheide.

With Gwin on home soil, and looking this good, he must certainly be among the favourites to take the win here and extend his lead in the overall, you can find out if he does by watching live on Red Bull TV.
