It may be the Mk5 version but it still packs a bunch when it comes to being one of the best MTB lights. The Six Pack can be programmed to your own requirements, and it has a massive 5,450 lumens in Reflex mode, plus a wider beam pattern, means the Six Pack is superbly versatile light, perfect for Enduro or Endurance riding.
There’s so much to love about the Exposure Lights Six Pack lights, and that’s why they have consistently scored so well in our testing. One of the key highlights is that the light is a self-contained unit. No pesky cables or straps are protruding, looking to snag any passing branches. The Six Pack’s workings are safely housed within its waterproof, rugged aluminium body, which means it’s almost bombproof. At 406g, it does mean it’s a hefty lump on your handlebars, and Exposure recommends always running the thin shim provided to keep it nice and secure.
Elsewhere, the light connects to the Exposure Lights SYNC app, allowing for custom tuning. You can also access the Reflex+ mode, which is Exposure’s terrain-specific technology. This clever function means, for example, that when you ride fast, the light gets brighter, and when you ride slowly, it dims down, saving battery life. Functions can also be controlled at the touch of the wireless remote control.
Battery life is claimed to be between 2 and 36 hours, depending on settings. The lumens output is 3,750 lumens, but this tops out at 5,450 lumens in Reflex mode. An LED display panel provides clear information on the current mode, remaining runtime in hours and minutes, and the percentage of charge.
In summary, the Six Pack, although one of the most expensive lights on test, was well worth its price due to its exceptional build quality and performance. If you want the best MTB handlebar light, you’ll be hard-pressed to find anything better than this, especially at this discounted price.
