The Red Bull Rampage is returning for the tenth time to finish off the mountain bike season in style. From its first tentative steps on the steeps of Utah, the Rampage has gown to become a massive competition that is even shown on American TV.

The list of past winners reads like a who’s-who of freeride mountain biking and includes Cam Zink, Brandon Semenuk and Andreu Lacondeguy. This year brings the extra prestige of being the tenth running of the competition with a win guaranteed to cement your place in freeride mountain biking history.

Expect the competition to be more fierce than ever before this year with the FEST series pushing the limits of big mountain freeriding as far as they can go. Riders are now used to going bigger and harder than before and this is sure to show on Virgin’s ridgelines.

The competition will be streamed live on Red Bull TV on 17 October after a week of digging and practice. British hopes rest on Brendan Fairclough, Bernard Kerr and Sam Reynolds. Fairclough came eighth last year after riding a line that featured two canyon gaps.

Reynolds and Kerr are first time competitors but Reynolds is coming into the competition on fine form after winning best trick at the Hoff Fest.
