Stand aside Euro enduros, this is how they do enduro racing in Yorkshire. Or at least they will do, come June 29/30 when the first ever ‘Ard Rock Enduro takes place in Swaledale, North Yorkshire.

It’s a combined mountain bike Enduro and All-Mountain sportive in the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park, organised by mbr’s own Mick Kirkman. It’s an exclusive route taking in 100% natural rocky descents incorporated into a big day out in the Dales. There’s one-off access to private land, which means ‘Ard Rock Enduro can take in gnarly, rock strewn terrain only rideable in this event. There’s a chip timing system too, provided by SportIdent.

There will also be camping, a BBQ, beer and fantastic spot prizes from event sponsors Santa Cruz, Hope and Mavic. All entries before Monday June 10 are automatically entered into a prize draw for a £600 set of Mavic Crossmax ST wheels. Watch the video for a little taster of the kind of riding on offer, and enter the enduro here.
