Route details

The route begins entering forest areas on a slight ascent up single track bridleways as you start your journey towards Farley Heath. The route gives a wide range of gravel tracks, short bursts of road climbs, sandy tracks, winding and technical descents.

Once at Farley Heath the route heads East towards the first feed station where riders can re-hydrate before re-joining the course towards Holmbury St Mary where the course splits for the epic and standard riders.

The epic riders then head off on a five-mile loop through the woodland tracks towards Broadmoor, encountering technical single track and some more steep climbs followed by the enjoyable descents not long after!

Then the tough part begins as it joins the sandy track along the bottom of Wotton Common to the start of the technical, rocky climb towards the top of Leith Hill. The riders will experience a spectacular view from the top of Leith Hill before heading down a technical singletrack descent to re-join the standard loop.

All the riders will then be challenged by more steep road climbs and bridleway tracks to end their journey descending the singletrack to the showground.

Goodies galore!

As you pass the finish line, riders will receive a finishers T shirt, a medal and more goodies. Food and drink will be available at the finish where you can enjoy the delights of your days riding.
