Looking for some tips to get the best cleat alignment on my shoes. I'm using M647 pedals and MP66W shoes. I've used spd's before but normaly just chuck the cleats on and off I go :o but these don't feel quite right any tips to get the best and most comfortable alignment ?

Do you know if you're flat footed, have a pronounced arch or a neutral foot?

I have no idea :D could it be that I'm not used to using a flat spd shoe and a caged pedal ?

Which way do you feet point when you're relaxed and standing with your heels about 6" apart?

If you sit on a table with your legs hanging , this should give you an idea how your natural foot position is. Also, be careful not to have the cleat set too close or too far away from the cranks as this can give a bit of knee trouble.

I think they point quite straight. I've now put the cleat pointing straight and kept it centre (forward/back) and had a quick ride feels better but will need a proper ride to see how it goes.
