We’ve known a new venue has been in the works for the ‘Ard Rock crew for a while and today the cat is out of the bag – get ready for the ‘Ard Moors

The ‘Ard Rock formula will be taken 40 miles east to the North Yorkshire Moors for a weekend of enduro action. The race will be kicking off on September 18 based around the Lord Stones Country Park.

The concept is imple, take all the fun of the ‘Ard Rock enduro but take it higher up on the Yorkshire Moors. The event promises: “The highest hills on the moors, old-school classic DH tracks, steep woods and stunning moors to attack until you give-in, or get-on!”

The trails have been pain-stakingly scouted to provide the best enduro race possible. As always a lot of the tracks will be secret and unridden so you don’t need to worry about locals advantage. The route will take upwards of four hours to complete (transitions aren’t timed) and will take in 2,500 metres of climbing and descending in one day.

There will be optional practice on the Saturday followed by full-blooded racing on the Sunday. The race will be accompanied by the usual campsite entertainment including local craft beers and  burgers

Entries go live on March 1 at 07:00 on a first come, first served basis so expect them to sell out like hotcakes. An entry will cost £56 including VAT.
