We spied this on a recent tip to Vancouver and it’s destined to become Cove’s new all-mountain platform, available in two versions. The air-sprung frame will have 6in of travel and a lightweight tubeset, while the 6.5in coil-sprung version will get a burlier tubeset for extra strength. As yet the new bike doesn’t have a name but when we caught up with Chaz Romalis, the owner of Cove Bikes, he was very keen to call it the Bone-Air. Kona has the CoilAir and Chaz said that he liked how ‘BoneAir’ sounds French! Check out our first ride in the next issue (Jan 08).
