The Evans Cycles Ride It! events are a series of organised road and off-road rides that are designed to take the hassle out of your weekend riding. The rides are non-competitive with an emphasis on riding with other riders, riding in new areas and sampling some different road and off-road routes around the UK. Taking place every second weekend throughout the UK, there’s always a ride close by as well as rides further a field allowing you to vary your riding.
The next event in the series takes place at Milton Keynes over this weekend June 7th & 8th (mountain bike on Saturday and road on Sunday) and then twice a month at different venues throughout the UK. Every ride has 3 or 4 pre marked routes designed for all standards of riders from family groups to experienced cyclists.
Saturday is the off-road ride based at The Pavilion, Bow Brickhill, MK17 9JB, and we thought we’d offer an alternative to the traditional planned city view that most people have of Milton Keynes! This varied ride offers riders a real taste of the beautiful countryside and woodland of ‘middle England’. Some great climbs and technical descents, well balanced with canal towpaths and some quiet lanes, this ride offers a great variety with something for everyone. Hardly a roundabout in site!

Adult entry is £10 per rider. Entries can be purchased on the Evans Cycles website at www.evanscycles.com/rideit and are also taken on the day (subject to a £2.50 surcharge)

Gore Bike Wear try before you buy service at Ride It!
Gore Bike Wear will be at the event with their try before you buy service – offering riders their choice of hundreds of Windstopper and GoreTex garments to use for the ride. This service is free of charge to all Ride It! riders – just present your rider card, use any of the garments for the ride and drop them back at the end of the ride and the Gore team will take care of the washing!
