The City Downhill World Tour is a crazy series of events – the world’s fastest riders head to the hilliest cities on Earth and race their bikes down the stairways and alleys against the clock.

The series has always ended in Taxco, Mexico for a carnival of bike racing through the slums, think of it as the urban downhill equivalent of Finale Ligure but without the seaside finish.

The course looks to be a crazy combination of staircases, narrow streets and big drops and attracted some of the world’s best racers including Cam Zink, Neko Mulally and Bernard Kerr. The race was won by the Brazilian Bernado Cruz for the second year in a row. There was also a Best Trick competition that was won by Cam Zink with a nac-nac backflip on the bottom jumps.

The City Downhill overall competition was won by Filip Polc who took second on the day.

The World Tour will return next year with more crazy competitions through city streets.
