The Duo Mount is made from 7075 aluminium and claims to be lightweight (claimed 50g), “super strong” and “beautifully designed”. It does look like a neat solution for those who need such a thing.

Duo Mount has a funding target of AUD20,000. Cycliq have history of using Kickstarter to launch/fund their products. Their Fly 6 and Fly12 action cameras-with-lights were done via Kickstarter.

Cycliq CEO Andrew Hagen: “In the early days, a great many people shared our vision for Fly6 and Fly12 … By launching the Duo Mount through Kickstarter, we’re giving the crowdfunding community first opportunity to purchase the mount and will do so at a significant discount. It’s a way of saying thank you for helping us to grow a successful business.”

Cycliq’s patent pending design has a scalloped base to fit devices’ mounting fins, making camera or lighting devices sit closer together with the head unit.
