Atherton in not-winning shocker

Watch the Foxhunt pack of over 200 women try to outride the best female downhill racer in the world.

The third edition of Red Bull Foxhunt saw a pack of over 200 riders battle it out on a brand new course running over Melmerby Scar, Cumbria.

As the women lined up at the top of the hill, they all had one goal in mind – to outrun the fastest woman in downhill mountain biking, Rachel Atherton.

Watch Rachel’s POV footage in the video above as she hunts down the racers in a chase that’s not even interrupted by her puncture!

Rachel suffered a puncture at the top of the course, so for the competitors it was an opportunity for the pack to get ahead and cross the finish line without being caught by the World Champ.
