Yup, you are correct there, they are indeed standard on the Voodoo Hoodoo. Mine lasted quite well but were no damned good in mud and now I've worn them out they make quite good semi slicks

I have the swampies too, only problem is the drag. If your more into the downs than the ups then the swampies but there not too good on the dry. Actually there quite bad on the dry with the height of the knobs on it.

I've just bought some Muddy Mary Evo, One trailstar and one Verstar compound but not tried them yet. Supposed to cover most conditions so plan is to try them and then stock up for Alps if I like them
(Incidentally these were bought on the recommendation of some guys at Lodge Cycles so I'll be holding Kevolution accountable lol even though he had nothing to do with it!!
ps......but I wouldn't use them for XC
