Going embarress the old bugger now. After perusing the web for a nice pair of mtb shorts, Taz offered to send me, free gratus, a pair of Endura Zymes.
Well they arrived today and while i haven't yet used them in anger, they fit like a glove and are the dogs danglies.
So i would like to publically say "Thank you Taz, i owe you a beer or two"
The generosity and friendliness on this forum is second to none.

I would have done it for any of you but Gun got there first.
To fill in the story, I was following a thread when Gun mentioned his need of shorts, my OH reminded me that we had a pair of shorts that No:1 son wouldn't wear, it seems that Jeans are way cool but not the shorts we'd bought him, he wore them once. They didn't fit me, the OH or any of the boys so Gun got them, simples.
I really couldn't bring myself to ask him to pay for them.

Nice idea Mick, after all, we all help each other with all sorts of advice, along with the forum p1ss taking, it seems logical to extend the idea to swaps and gimmies. I think just recently iirc that the forum helped someone with donations for a build, it does seem a natural extension of the forum atmosphere of community.
