The Endura Stramash (it’s a Scottish word for Scottish word for a disturbance, racket, or clash) takes place on September 19-20, and local lad Danny Macaskill will be in attendance for the Slopestyle. Also lining up to ride is Lance McDermott, who was recently injured but is confident of a return to form for Stramash.

The Enduro follows the idea of the Kona Mashup, but here the idea is to reach the top of the singletrack descents within your time limit before racing the clock down in timed stages – you’ll have all day to set your fastest times.

The event is being organised by ‘The Clan’, Scotland’s cycle stunt team and Detail Events, the guys behind the famous Rat Race urban adventures.
