Rock ‘n’ Roll Adventures has expanded and is now offering trips to the Pyrenees. Having spent the Autumn of 2006 riding and exploring in the high Pyrenees resort of Val d’Azun, the team at Rock ‘n’ Roll loved the riding so much that they have linked up with a local guide to offer weekend and week long holidays in this stunning location.
Chalet style accommodation means that after a long day in the saddle you can swap riding stories whilst eating home cooked french fare, with many of the ingredients coming from the owner’s family farm. The ringing of cow bells, and roaring mountain rivers are a constant reminder of your location, where you will encounter miles of single track, both technical and flowing, uphill and down. Rock ‘n’ Roll’s local guide grew up riding in this area and is keen to share all of his favourite trails, including an absolute corker of a descent, some 25km long.
Rock ‘n’ Roll Adventures will be running weekend and week-long trips to the Pyrenees whilst it is quiet and cooler in May, early June and September 2007. For more information on trip dates and prices log onto www.rocknrolladventures.com
