Check out this wince-inducing helmetcam video of a downhiller riding full steam into another rider who appears to be a bit lost in a bike park.

>>> Nine videos of riders smacking into trees

It’s a frightening encounter for both unfortunate parties. The downhiller escapes relatively unharmed (“just a few cuts and bruises”). There’s no word on the condition of the other rider.

The exact details of the incident are bit scarce. And what details there are a bit confusing (maybe the videographer was still a bit dazed?). The video also appears to have been flipped right-to-left. Weird.

The location is listed as being Cannock Chase but we wouldn’t be surprised to hear that it’s not actually there. It looks more like an uplift bike park to us. If anyone can confirm/identify the spot, please leave a comment below.

The downhiller appears to be called Harry Renolds [sic], an 18 year old from Staffordshire.
