Loading up the Drafter, we immediately noticed how easy the wide open jaws of the main compartment made access, and combined with the spacious mesh organising pockets, it was a pleasure to cram gear into. Once full up, the expandable mesh back pocket secured with compression straps added valuable emergency room and can accommodate a helmet too. The accessory straps on the bottom were perfect for lashing on extra clobber. And when it wasn’t crammed it was easily secured and compressed with no flapping.

The easily accessed Nalgene reservoir with quick-release hose added value and for just over 50 sheets we reckon you can’t get much better.
