So we may not all be quite skilled enough to ride in Red Bull Rampage, but YT Industries is offering one of its fans the next best thing – the chance to become a behind the scenes reporter on the whole event.

YT’s Rampage Reporter will accompany the team to Red Bull’s premier freeride event. They will then report via social media on all the goings on of the week of Rampage. A press pass will allow them access all areas on the site itself so they can get up close and personal to the digging and riding.

Considering that the YT team includes last year’s winner, Andreu Lacondeguy, as well as a raft of other top level riders including Cam Zink and Kelly McGarry, you’re sure to see some pretty wild action while you’re out there.

At least one of these could be you (Red Bull)

Best of all YT Industries will pay for the winner’s transport and accommodation at the event.

YT is looking for: “somebody who rides bikes as well as they communicate, somebody who masters social media and is intimately knowledgeable about the mountain biking scene, somebody who knows how to take pictures and brings cinematographic talent.” One other caveat is that you must be at least 18.

To apply, YT wants you to post a three minute long video bio to its Facebook wall (the more creative the better) before October 7. Winners will be announced on October 9 giving you just three days to pack your bags before being shipped off to Utah.
