You could buy a multi-tool from a hardware shop for £5.99 but it won’t have carbon fibre handles, titanium hardware and through-hardened S-2 steel hex wrenches, nor a Mavic M7 spoke key to true your CrossMax wheelset. It’ll be cheaper but there’s something about this Pedro’s Critical Mass multi-tool, other than the 84g weight, that we quite liked. Maybe it’s the quality? In a way this echoes Pedro’s green credentials because wouldn’t the ultimate environmental tool be one that lasts a lifetime? Offset some of the carbon and you might be able to justify the exorbitant price.
