It has infinite adjustment

Fox has taken to social media to tease us with details of a new infinite adjust dropper post.

Details at moment are sketchy but we can see that it won’t be coated in gold kashima, like Fox’s forks and shocks, and it appears to have stealth cable routing.

Fox has also teased a lever with the caption “low force lever”. Again we can only speculate what this means but it stands to reason that it will only require a light touch to activate.

Is Magura’s electric dropper the future?

The post will replace the current D.O.S.S (Drop On Steep Stuff) post that has only three positions of adjustment – climb, trail and descend. Infinite adjustment will be a big improvement on this and will put the post in direct competition with the RockShox Reverb.

Interestingly, Fox currently owns Easton and Race that released their own infinite adjust, stealth dropper post earlier this year. The Easton/Race Face post was lighter than the D.O.S.S and used a mix of mechanical and hydraulic systems. Will we see some of these technologies carried over on to the new Fox post?

We don’t know any more details than that for now but we’ll be sure to keep a keen eye on Fox’s social media accounts for any more information.
