UK Cycling Events, organiser of sportives by MBR, Cycling Weekly, Wiggle, Ordinance Survey and more, has three vacancies at itsnorthern office

UK Cycling Events, the UK’s leading provider of cycling sportives, is looking to add three members of staff to its northern office, based in Carlisle, Cumbria.

The company, which organises mass participation events by Cycling Weekly, Wiggle and Ordinance Survey, including MBR’s own Adventure Cross series, is recruiting a full-time event assistant, a part time admin assistant and a casual event day assistant, all to be based in Longtown.

Event Assistant

UKCE seeks an energetic, well organised, reactive individual with great communication skills. Previous event experience will be beneficial, computer literacy and a full manual driving licence is essential. The role will include a certain amount of warehouse and event based manual handling.

A period of 2 months of training will be required in Hampshire (Jan-March).

Admin Assistant (20 hours per week)

UKCE seeks an energetic, well organised individual with great communication skills – both verbal and written. Previous admin experience will be beneficial and computer literacy is essential.

A period of training will be required in Hampshire (March).

Casual Event Day Assistant

Previous event experience will be beneficial and ability to drive manual vehicles is essential. This role will be on a zero hour’s contract and the amount of work on offer is based on the needs of the business.

A period of training will be provided, in various locations (March).
