Try before you buy with Specialized and Giant this Spring If either Specialized or Giant bikes figure on your shopping list for 2007, you’ll be able to try before you buy at one of the companies’ joint demo events to be held around the country this spring. Each event will combine demos of Specialized and Giant bikes, and rides for different ability levels. Sram and Magura have also partnered up to give technical support and mbr will be the exclusive media partners of the events. Patrick Adams from ProVelo was appointed to organise the challenge series and part of his brief was to select some of the best off road cycling trails in Britain. The four selected trails belong to the Forestry Commission, synonymous with high standard of care for the land. ITo ensure all participants’ enjoyment, each Challenge Series day will have 2 rides to suit riders varied abilities in addition to the demo rides. The Enduro 6 weekend will incorporate a Ladies Day on 28th April with lady riders specifically in mind giving them the opportunity to test their performance in what might be a less competitive environment. Riders can invite along a non riding or novice ability friend to experience mountain biking for the first time with a one lap challenge ride on the Enduro 6 course. Similarly at the Snowdonia Bike Fest a special short ride will be marked for lady mountain bikers to bring friends along on the Saturday.
