Dirt jump demo, at Eurobike 2011

Birmingham has the Cycle Show, the capital boasts the London Bike Show and now Manchester is on course to host its own cycling showcase. The inaugural Bike and Triathlon Show will take place February 16-17 next year at Manchester Central (formerly called the G-Mex), featuring mountain bike, BMX, road, commuter, electric and kids bikes as well as triathlon gubbins.

The website isn’t yet live, but check out www.bikeandtri.co.uk in about a week’s time for details. Pricing will be £15, with an early bird and British Cycling discount. Organisers even that promise some World Cup downhill riders will be on hand to chat or ride.
