Sam was also taking part in the Big in Bavaria event in Munich last week, but crashed out:
“I regret to inform you that whilst in Munich yesterday [Saturday] I had a bit of a crash in practice and woke up in hospital! I knocked myself out and dislocated my collar bone so wasn’t able to compete in the finals which sucked because my practice runs alone would have been enough for a good result!
“Ah well, could have been worse I suppose, should only be out for a few weeks I hope.
