Get to grips with Aaron Gwin's lighter side with this 'hilarious' parody of his chainless run at Leogang

Ever wondered how to really improve your speed going downhill? Other than following Brendan Fairclough’s tuition, the best bet would be to buy something with an engine…

In this video, Aaron Gwin shows that he is harbouring a sense of humour alongside the professional attitude that he is famous for and that despite being the current leader in the downhill World Cup, he has got some jollies to accompany it.

Mountain biking is known for its chilled vibe and good sense of humour and while not all athletes can be as laid back as Josh Bryceland or the Syndicate crew, this is a great little spoof of Gwin and his season so far. There are nods to his ‘Murica attitude, his self belief and the famous chainless run at Leogang where he took first place.

Despite this lighthearted video things look set to take a serious turn at the next round of the World Cup. While Gwin still sits in first both Minnaar and Bruni have crept closer. Minnaar sits in second after taking his 18th world cup win in Lenzerheide, pipping Steve Peat to the record of most ever World Cup wins.
