Much has been written in mbr over the past few issues about how underrepresented (and underestimated) female riders are on mountain bike trails. Now we'd like to do something about it.
We've has teamed up with Altitude Adventure in the Spanish Pyrenees to offer two free holidays and a chance to test out some of the latest women's specific bikes and kit. MBR will come along to report and we'll use your opinions in a feature later this year.
What's in it for you? A four-day weekend mixing of some of Europe's most beautiful and challenging trails with Altitude Adventure's comfortable base near Perpignan.
When we last visited in August 2008 we said it was like a journey through the world's best singletrack. You can take the same trip (for free) if you're a) female b) free from October 7-11 and c) lucky enough to catch the eye of our Britain's got talent style judges' pool. We just need to know you normally ride and what kind of trails you like most.
