heres my first video from my cam I got for Christmas.

Yes its a bit shakey as I used the tip from greeneye and straped it to my handlegrips and its a very bumpy trail. So off to get a new stronger mount

Bit slow at the begining but it is bloody muddy and you can see how much I was sliding

Looks good, would not bother with a handlebar mount steve, go for a helmet mount if you can. Your body is a shock absorber and your head can point in the right direction all the time.

I have just tried a handlebar mount on my bike it cannot take the rough treatment it gets plus it transmitts all the trail vibrations to the lens.

PS loved the big bomb hole, you really went for it on that one.

I get the same sort of jerkiness from my Muvi microcam. Its as though it can't process rapidly moving images fast enough, so it skips a bit. As long as I ponce about its fine, but as soon as I get going it gets all jerky on me.

I have tried it on my helmet, but I obviously look around a lot, steadily sweeping from left to right and back again. The image is not quite as jerky, but still not pleasant to watch. I've tried handlebar mounting with similar results to you. Someone (Reevil I think) simply hung the cam from his rucksack chest strap. Surprisingly it worked! It wasn't jerky, but I was astonished that it actually remained pointing in the right direction.

I use Windows Moviemaker to process my images, what do you use?

didnt use anything to process it my cam just saves them in AVI and uploaded, but if I do edit I would use windows moviemaker used it before when doing my motocross videos works good

Incedently when doing my motocross videos we used to ductape a camcorder to our helmet

slippy's not the word a lot of it was like lumpy gravy lol, you can see the front wheel going out but 3 times I did it that day and didnt fall off
