Help with changing my hope pads.

I need to inspect/change my pads on my hope minis.

There is some kind of saftey pin holding a retaining pin on.

Do i remove this then the retaining pin which goes through the pads, then just pull the pads out.

Ive looked on youtube but its not very clear about this safety pin.

As far as I know (this is how I do mine, which are a few years old), you take out the split-pin and then you still have to unscrew the thing that you call a retaining pin. You should be able to see that one end takes a hex-key.

p.s. After that, yes, you just pull the pads out. You can see the full assembly in this picture:

The retaining pin goes through the whole assembly to hold it in place.
