ok so here she is, photo taken at 4.45 today before a 3 hour local ride.

well i must say O to the M to the G!!!!! what a fantastic bike, iv'e waited for ever for it and its been well worth the wait.

its not anywhere near as harsh as i thought it would be and it climbs like a..........well i dont know what it climbs like but she's fricken quick and very responsive and having 100mm travel its not like its to short to handle the steep stuff.

even the gearing is good, it maybe all entry level stuff but its still crisp shiffting, the only thing im concerned about is the forks dont fully lock out, they do go stiffer but i can compress them with my weight over the bars pushing down, not sure if thats normal for the recon's?!?!

in short, its mint and i love it love it love it

Nice One looks ace glad your happy with it , my new Marz Marathon LR forks dont lock out like my old forks and I can do the same as you with them , but they stay still when I'm climbing go figure ?

Good stuff matey. The Recon's I had never fully locked out to the point of being rigid as you would expect, it's there so it still offers some give but iirc it's designed so that if you do forget to turn it off then go hammering down a big hill it has a blowoff that unlocks it so you have full travel.

They never fully lock out and that's a good thing you can get stronger springs but I reckon it's probably about right
