Hi all.

Been a long time since my last post but hope some of you still remember me!

As always trying to balance my mtb and road riding!

Anyway, off to pick up my son's new mtb after he gets home from school. He is a mega Spesh fan so will soon be the prooud owner of a black Hardrock Disc 2012 model.

Great excuse for a weekends riding now!

You've not been forgotten... you had a Kona steely you'd picked up recently when we last saw you. Is it a fun now as it was when you first picked it up.

Yes, I last posted when I grabbed some cheap wider bars for it (700 instead of 660). I since added a shorter Kona stem that was on my son's old bike (so 45mm instead of 90mm). Other than that it has remained pretty stock and doing a great job. I love steel HT's as they remind me of my 'back in the day' times. The bar and stem combo work well with the nature/ride of the bike.

My old Fisher is still around in SS guise but needs the headset doing now so that is another job on the list!

I don't know about Aldo, but Taz is alive and well; I have been in frequent contact. He's been having a bad reaction to the latest meds and it is sapping his energy and generally making life hard work. I was pleased to hear that he was out on his bike a week ago. I reckon it won't be too long before he's contributing again. He'll be pleased to know that he has been missed.
