Live from a field in Tosside

Well the forum members have just spent the first (cold) night under canvass, currently bathed in clear blue skies and sunshine with a very cold windy.

Last night a few of us went for a couple of laps of the Hope trail at Gisburn just to loosen the legs ready for today. The rest of evening was spent in the small onsite meeting room eating the hot pot made by Albert (the camp site owner) and renewing old friendships and making new ones.

Nobody has yet done anything silly of note but hopefully that will be corrected later today.........

Unfortunately shortly after writing this thread this morning I received a phone call from my daughter (who was at our house) and told me we had water coming through our bedroom ceiling. After many phone calls we decided that we had to return home to sort out the problem. To say I am *issed off is an understatement, what should of been a great weekend of riding at Gisburn and Lee Quarry resulted in just two laps of the Hope trail last night and that's not to mention the great company I am missing, not a lot for a 700 mile round trip

The water is currently turned off, I have a 25ltr container of water to keep us going and tomorrow I will venture into the loft, to late in the day now.
