How far was the walk, and how long did it take?

We only did about 4.5 miles, but it's part of the Pennine way so it's possible to do a hell of a lot more.

I realise it is a LONG way to do it all, just wondered how far you went and how long it took you... Was it a there and back or a loop?

We just did there and back but it could easily be done point to point or looped. Starting from Cowgreen reservoir and following the river east would be the best way to do it IMO.
