    in view of the above, I think it would be a great idea if you could get "dog tags" (army style things) with basic info and emergency contact name and number that you wear when out riding

    not sure if they are available, but if "Richard" had got these on friends and family could have been notified immediately

    you can get CNC controlled engraving machines for pet I.Ds to go on a collar in pets at home and the like, so a slightly larger one of them and a length of "bath plug" chain and you are away, it should be easy to produce something for a tenner

    I would buy and wear one when riding, with home contact name and numbers MrsT's land line and mobile, details of medical conditions and my allergies

    what do you think guys?

    As per my other thread, i think they are expensive.

    However, if there was a group buy then i'd be interested. Sort of a special MBR members one?

    cant see any reason why they should be more than a tenner and i would pay that much

    I am sure hobo would want some after what happened to him a couple of years back

    We bought one of theses for my Father in law a couple of years back.Not cheap but good quality and you can more or less put what you want on it.
