OK folk, sort of bumping this as it's not too far off and I may need to book some leave.
Just wondering what the plans for riding are? Are we just meeting up on Friday evening or have got some plans to ride on the Friday? Just wondering because I can't stay for Sunday night/Monday then I'll set off a bit earlier on Monday if I'm likely to get some time on the bike in.
Are we likely to get a trip in to Lee quarry too? if so what day and will SLB fancy giving it a miss?!

We will be getting there early evening on the Friday. Happy to go with the flow re the riding. Maybe Gisburn on Saturday and Lee quarry on Sunday. I will be road riding with mrs T on Monday if anyone fancies that at around 25 miles ish

IIRC it's about 20-25mins drive to Lee quarry. It's based at Bacup.
I was thinking of a taking either a half day or a full day off, we'd want to be pitched and camped before about tea time so that we can get the little one off to sleep for the evening allowing enough time for his camping excitement to settle down a bit.
I'd feel a little cheeky in getting there early and leaving mini and mrs alone while I slunk off for a quick half lap or something. We might then think about a leisurely ride all together with maybe a picnic earlier on....
