OK folk, sort of bumping this as it's not too far off and I may need to book some leave.

Just wondering what the plans for riding are? Are we just meeting up on Friday evening or have got some plans to ride on the Friday? Just wondering because I can't stay for Sunday night/Monday then I'll set off a bit earlier on Monday if I'm likely to get some time on the bike in.

Are we likely to get a trip in to Lee quarry too? if so what day and will SLB fancy giving it a miss?!

Taking Friday off work, so could be there before lunch, if I am not the only one there at that time, go for a quick play on some stuff?

As things stand I hopefully will arrive late Friday afternoon, I assume the Lee Quarry is within riding distance of the camp site or is it a drive to??

IIRC it's about 20-25mins drive to Lee quarry. It's based at Bacup.
I was thinking of a taking either a half day or a full day off, we'd want to be pitched and camped before about tea time so that we can get the little one off to sleep for the evening allowing enough time for his camping excitement to settle down a bit.

I'd feel a little cheeky in getting there early and leaving mini and mrs alone while I slunk off for a quick half lap or something. We might then think about a leisurely ride all together with maybe a picnic earlier on....

Aint got a clue what time we're getting there or what we're doing when we get there. I'm up for a blast round lee quarry if herself doesn't want to go for a spin though.
