how can it be too long?

the one I replaced was 125mm
the one I replaced with it was 122cm so its smaller than the original.

I make that 1.1m too long!!!

Was the original one ok?

are you sure of the size?

122CM is 1.095M longer than 125mm

Ain't you Brits got the hang of the metric system yet???

really???

let me try!

A blonde lady was driving along the highway when a blonde police officer pulled her over for speeding.

Officer: May i see your licence?

Lady: what does it look like?

Officer: its a rectangular thing with a photo of you on it.

The lady looks through her bag and pulls out her compact mirror and hands it to the officer.

The officer opens it up and says 'if you had told me you were a police officer I wouldn't have pulled you over.'

it is NOT 125cm it is:

Original: 125mm
New One: 122mm

I do NOT appreciate a simple query to turn into a racist and offensive posts

When did it get racist? (Xenophobic, perhaps, but not racist (which ironic given that that's a Greek word!))

Anyway, have I answered your query?

You bought a BB that was too long.

Put the brakes on a second Gordon, nobody on this post has been offensive or racist to you, fact.

Gorehound post was aimed at Disgreece, being a newbie to the forum you will not be aware of the sometime strong friendly banter between users on here.

At worst people are having a laugh around you and your BB problem. Sir Q is a bike mechanic by trade so what he is telling you is fact. All anybody want is for you to get your problem resolved and back out and riding, it maybe that the strong\urine extracting banter of this forum is not for you, only you can answer that.

Unfortunately I don't know enough about BB to comment on your problem, so I will let those that do, do so

Tim

and without a sense of humour you wont enjoy MTBing.

What other sport involves falling off a bike in muddy conditions and wearing tight fitting clothes?

You have to laugh, don't ya?

The assistant asked the blonde if she would like her pizza cut into six pieces or twelve.

"Six please" she said, "I could never eat twelve!"

more??? okay....

Two blondes were in a parking lot trying to unlock the door of their car with a coat hanger.

First Blonde:
"I can't seem to get this door unlocked!

Second Blonde:
Well you better hurry up. It's starting to rain and the top is down!
