The instruction booklet that came with my Rock Shox Reba Dual Air forks is a bit on the breiff side. There's nothing in there at about setting up the fork. The actual forks have a chart on them that shows air pressure required for rider weight. But there's nothing at all about setting up rebound, compression & the flood gate thing (I don't even know what this is!!). I'm sure I can find stuff online about setting up but i was a bit surprised there was nothing in the manual.

Check out my previous post!
Hi Veraylnn, I bought the same forks from Merlin, and was told everything I needed to know about all the dials, pressures etc was in the manual, but it was useless!!! The only info it gave was how to install the fork.
Try this link, everything you need to know is there.

The +gate is the flood gate, which over-rides the lockout and allows the fork to work when you hit a bump in lockout mode. I adjust mine to almost the minumum, about + 1 turn. As for the +air and -air, the link I sent refers to this, but here is a quick guide.
The +air basically sets the amount of sag in the fork, and deals with absorbing the bigger hits. I set mine to 160psi I think. This pressure is shown on the fork side, according to your weight.
The -air allows you to determine how 'active' the fork is. Go a few psi higher than the +air to be more active and absord the smaller ruts quicker, or a few psi less to make the fork less responsive to the small stuff. A bit of trial and error is needed here.
Hope this helps.
