ARE YOU TOUGH ENOUGH FOR THE TRANS CYMRU CHALLENGE?

The British Heart Foundation is challenging teams to a one day, multi-stage team challenge in Afan Forest, South Wales.

This challenge will test your team’s energy levels, mental agility, fitness and team spirit while raising money to fight heart disease in the UK.

The Stages

Stage 1: 5km run around Gnoll Country Park
Stage 2: 19km mountain bike stage to Afan Country Park
Stage 3: Team Agility Test at Afan Country Park
Stage 4: Cross Country run including several river crossings
Stage 5: Team Mental Agility Challenge
Stage 6: 19km mountain bike stage to Gnoll Country Park
Stage 7: Team challenge including lake crossing!

Each stage will be timed and converted into points. Bonus points will be available for the mini tasks given on the day and awarded to teams who hand in their sponsorship on the day of the event.

Taking Part

This event is all about team spirit and fundraising achievements. Awards will be given on the day to the most successful fundraising team, the best team spirit and the fastest team.

Teams can consist of between 2 and 6 people, with a minimum of 2 members completing each stage.

The registration fee is £15 per person, with teams asked to raise a minimum of £700 in sponsorship for the event
