Croyde Bay
      #4322 - 16/07/2008 13:52

Hello there,

I'm nipping over to meet my mate in Croyde Bay in August. On the way up I'm stopping in Exmoor but on the Sat I'm hoping to find something directly in the Croyde area - don't want to arse myself with the car if possible.

Anybody know if there good possibiltiies around there? I don't know much about the arae at all.

Cheers!

Keef

Hey Keef,

There's lots of nice bridleways all around Croyde - just pull out a the 1:25,000 scale OS map and go for it.

An easy start is to ride from Croyde up to Putsborough then follow the bridle path to Woolacombe. From there it's a bu**er of a climb out of the town but there are plenty of nice bridleways to take you back towards Braunton and then back into Croyde.

I might have some routes on my GPS, if you're interested let me know and I'll try and dig them out and send you some screen shots - be quick 'cos I go on holiday tomorrow!
