i have just read the epic review in the mbr and i was shocked to see that the new frame will not be made in ali.
also.
specialized have there own brand shock and forks but these do not come standard unless your getting the top end bike. take the stumpy for example, the stumpy is available in 5 different models but its not till you get to the top 3 that the spesh shock is on and you have to be getting the carbon stumpy before you get the forks. why?
would it not be cheaper for specialized to fit there own shock and forks through out the range?
can mbr shed any light on this?

They must be expensive to make! (or something like that)
All Enduros SL’s come with spesh shocks, but none of the Pitches which I would assume is bargain Enduro (well not really), must be down to cost or elitism, with the amount of bikes they manufacture they have probably got a huge discount from the Fork/shock manufacturers.

Is that the one that comes with the cut-it-yourself seatpost?
Seems mighty dangerous to me, letting civilians cut up frames...even with the correct jigging tool

Yeah,
I agree totally glassy, how nervous would you be taking a hacksaw to a £2200 frame?????
Also, once cut to size it allows a whopping 25mm of seat height adjustment.

I hate to say this but I'm not so sure about them anymore, that rear linkage looks weedy...
