May I put out an extreme recommendation for Abus locks. If you have not got one, they are worth it. I just got home and for no reason looked at the lock. Some nice person has had a go at cutting it. I don't know when this happened as the damage to the lock is so insignificant - just the plastic/rubber over the metal cord got damaged. The lock was not cheap - £50, but compared to the hassle and expense of replacing a bike...
