Hi guys, just wanted to get some informed opinions on the above bike. Obviously Carrera arent one of the mainstream makes but it does look like good value for money. Any comments, knowledge etc. welcomed. Ta!

Hi John,
It looks amazing value as you say but difficult to find info on it.
It's half the price of a Spesh carbon stumpy HT!!
Will they let you have a test ride?
PS Juicy Fruit?

Hi Johnsav, I used to own a carrera hellcat back in the day and it was an extremely well built and capable piece of kit , as far as I know the carrera frames are still made by Merida which is a very large eastern frame manufacturer that make frames for quite a few of the top brands , as its not one of the so called "mainstream" names carrera do have a knack of putting together good quality bikes and kit without having to charge the earth for the name. Like S-Q says though if you can get a test ride on it then thats even better but I would still give it some serious consideration without. Hope thats helped a bit . Doc
P.S - Merida have put together the comp bikes for the olympic team !!!! just over 7 grand a pop.....
