Cannondale Prophet 600SL 06

Hi Guys

I am new to the forum and would like some advice.

I am looking at buying a Cannondale Prophet. I have the option on a 2006 600SL. From what I understand the SL range had shorter shocks on the front and rear, but were slightly lighter than the longer play Prophets.

I have read the test in MBR back in 06 saying that the shorter shocks ruined the geometry of the frame. In my experience sometimes test reports can be slightly decieving and I was hoping to get advice from poeople who have owned/used this bike to see whether it is a good option or should I wait for a longer suspension prophet to come along?
