Been looking at some forks for my Ellsworth Isis rebuild. I'm thinking 120-130mm of travel, disk mount only & I don't want to spend the earth (do Fox forks are out). What will I get for around the £250 mark? I like the look of these so far but I want to weigh up other options;

Those Rock Shox Pike forks look sweet. Really got to keep a cap on my budget though.

I tells you...my old TALAS forks (05) are not a patch on the coil bad boys. On several occasions I've found myself thinking oh crap I'm dead I can't hit that at this... oh how come I'm alive. Super bad

I hear you. But just before I started this rebuild project I bought a new bike. It was my original intention to rebuild but bike lust got the better of me & I bought a new one. Besides I'm sure it should be possible to put together a very nice build with budget considerartions. But if money ws no object ..... that would be cool. IT would be a full XTR groupset, top of the range Fox suspension etc.

I recon you're on to a good thing there.. boom boom!! a bit above your 250 mark though - but fully adjustable and worth the extra IMHO
