Hi guys
I am new to the sport of mountain biking and my first bike since a kid has been the Genesis Core 10 with Suntour Raidon lockout forks.
Can someone explain how the lockout feature works. I know that adjusting clockwise/anticlockwise adjusts the amount of travel in the fork, but there is also another smaller dial inside this one which has a 'plus and minus' sign on it that I don't understand what it does.
Please excuse my ignorance but is there a link I could look at that would explain how forks work.
Also my forks don't seem to fully lockout and at their stiffest there is still a bit of travel. Is this normal?

Sounds like a blow-through threshold setting. When you are locked out, if you take a big hit, you want the fork to respond. This sets how big a hit is required for the fork to respond.
And also, when you are locked out, yes, on good forks you do still get some travel. Not much.
