Shimano M324
      #35090 - 28/06/2009 20:59

Hi,

has anyone got any experience of using these pedals. I'm new to SPDs and like the idea of a flat on one side/SPD on the other.

My only concern is that it mate get irratating spinning round to whichover side I needed after being stationary\unclipped.

Thanks

Now there IS a question!!

is a wuss, some one who

1 is too scard to be be clipped in?

or

2 is too scared to ride flats incase their feet come off the pedals on a technical bit?

bring on the debate!!

do i leave my DMR V12s on the 5?

the outcome could have an impact on my fitting some 3 year old never used Shimano 525s to my bike.........................................................................................................................

I've had M324 pedals and they are shite. The 'flat' side isn't flat and doesn't provide any grip to a shoe with a cleat (especially if they have a hard sole), so the spinning it around to the right side, will soon drive you mad (it did me).
If you are undecided, stick with your old pedals.
Clipping in and out does become 2nd nature after a couple of rides and the first 'stop abrubtly and fall to one side or another'.

Afraid they are a bad compromise, you will think too much about the peadal (which side)ect... and not enough time riding, saw someone give up and bin these as they are too annoying.

They are now back to decent flatties, and good grippy shoes.

Guys thanks for the feedback/name calling

These pedals are now officially off my purchasing list.

Are there any good SPDs that you'd recommend at a similar price?
