BBC Scotland journalist Graham Mitchel's cousin Daniel Hughes was mountain biking in Vancouver and has disappeared. You or someone you know may be able to help with this search. Daniel Hughes, 29, was last seen on June 5th going on a cycle run in Vancouver,Canada, and he hasn't been seen since.
His family are trying to get his picture and details out to as many media outlets in Canada as possible, especially the cycling community who use the trails around Vancouver.
It's not in his character to disappear, there's no history of depression or drug use, and they fear something bad has happened to him while out on his bike.
Any info?

From the family:
"Daniel is probably somewhere in the Vancouver area, and we feel it is in character that he may have gone to the North Shore or other forested or mountainous places. He was riding a distinctive bicycle (a yellow Marinoni road bike with red decals; see poster at bottom) . He would have likely ridden on paved roads or easy trails, but he may have gotten off his bike and walked. If he had a bike accident and went off the road, he could be hidden in bushes.
We are asking for people to help by putting up posters and keeping an eye out. Specifically, ways to help find Daniel are: put up posters in south western BC, walk in Vancouver, walk trails and good cycling routes on the North Shore and other places in the Vancouver area (Please be extremely safe! If in doubt, don't go), and pass this information on to others".

All the best to his family. I hope he's found safe and well soon.
