Any one up for a few hours at Cannock on Sunday ? will be riding FTD and some of the off-piste / Downhill sections . No idea what sort of time but we'll see what interest we have and arrange from there.

Hi VT,
I'm up for it if it's an early start so I can be back in Macc for 2pm. Macc's about an hour and a half away so would need to be done by 12.30 latest.
Doesn't stop anyone else continuing after that as long as you've not got me lost in the chase!

Ok then guys 'its a date' see you in the morning, might go over to the downhill course before you pair get there but will be back at shop for 8.30 - you'll spot me easily , I'll be the one looking like a tramp !! (combats & t-shirt probably if I go DH first).

Just rode cannock chase the other day and got to say i thought it was really good even the car park shop cafe etc was mint. Def going back which is unusual for me cause i normally ride the peak district and anything natural but really enjoyed cannock. Got to say when i went the lakes and rode the north face trail i was dissapointed and at times found it a touch boring! chuffed with cannock but will go back to try the monkey trail some guy told us about that isn't on the map?

Hi Brij,
Glad you liked it mate, its my local haunt , quite a few unnoficial trails on the SEA side but a lot are tricky to find. Let me know when you plan to go over again and I can maybe arrange to meet you and show you some of the secret stuff - good news too , the monkey extension section is now open so its now a bit longer. Took S-Q and Proph over there and they liked it as well so we could maybe get a bit of a forum group together for a pootle.

I may be going myself with a mate Wednesday night, BUT it will be a quick blast around sort of thing as my mate ain't got a lot of time (little nipper) and only if my new XT outer cable comes from CRC (holding onto gears) GGgggrrrrrr!

yes boys will have to let you know when i'm free as time isn't as free as it was now i've got a six month old boy ( cant wait to get him a bike though) although i must warn you i'm by no means a quick rider uphills! so if you dont mind a semi unfit part time smoker joining you then sound.
