My new bike is arriving on Wednesday, what will I need to do to it? It's coming from Wheelies so I am guessing it just arrives in a box, my old bike was from a shop so was already set up. What will need doing?
Cheers

RTFM Noodle,
Read The F Manual, then Ride it!
Best guess is turn the bars and pedals poss put seat on, if you are unlucky the wheels.
Check all bolts etc, are tight, then ride it!
Enjoy your shiny new steed, other here may have recieved these in boxes and able to advise.

Whatever you do -
dont -
I repeat DONT open the box!!!
You take a large A4 sticky label and print on it :
To - DISGREECE ATHENS GREECE
then call up UPS and they'll come to pick it up.
As simple as that!! Nothing else for you to worry about

Well, if we all club together and encourage this "post purchase" behaviour , I believe we can be on to a good thing.
We can then take it one step further and actually ONLY recommend the bikes WE want....
So, mine's a Stumpy Pro Carbon - Large....OK everyone??

Then after that, if you could order a Whyte E120 Superbike.
Unfortunately this may also come in pieces in a box, so I would advise you repeat the above process, but with the following address:
Rob_A Newcastle upon Tyne England.
Thanks

Is this bought through the Cycle FROM Work Scheme?
Is it ever going to cycled to work, unless you work in a forrest!

All you'll need is the following: Your new bike. A large box of kleenex. A good hour by yourself.

Children children, if someone buys me and the bike tickets to Athens we will come and monitor the fight. The winner will be awarded a large cardboard box and a few used tissues!
It's not a 'cycle to work' thing, it's just being delivered to work as I now work 24 hours a day to pay for it! It's actually a 'some little sh*t stole my other bike' thing and I just added the same amount again to the insurance because who needs food!
cg172, your hair trigger control is mighty impressive!

I've already offered to pay for the UPS charge to get the bike over.... Send it off and I'll make Business Class reservations for you with BA (you do believe me dont you???)
I'll see to it that the Zesty gets the appropriate welcome and is all set up proper before I sit down with the afore mentioned box of Kleenex and weep!!
I'll go ape round the garden - remove any reflectors - then take it out for a thrashing on some really cool trails...
You??? Rest assured that your steed is in good hands - away from any thieving b4st4rds, and is being truly loved and appreciated.
Oh! Just one more thing, dont hang around Gatwick waiting for your ticket for too long, you'll get arrested for loitering
